Hello Judge Mathis my name is Kelvin F. Nedd from Ft. Pierce Florida. I heard today you answering a question in regards to a mothers daughter being arrested on the Steve Harvey show in a sting operation and was charged with a few offenses or maybe one offense. Her mom wanted to know how to get the charge or charges off her record. You stated that she can go to the state attorneys office and request for it to be taken off her record. Judge I assume the young lady was not charged and the charges were dropped.
Judge I have a similar situation but not exactly. I have four different arrest because of domestic battery or domestic violence how ever way the charges are written. I was arrested on 4 different times. Each arrest was and have been dismissed by the State Of Florida. I have never pleaded guilty nor have I ever been on probation. Also, I have never been to trial for anyone of these alleged charges. Judge these arrest appear on my record and I have problems getting employment . I was told that I was only allowed to get one of these charges expunged. Is it possible for the state attorney to somehow dismiss these charges off my record simply because they them selves dropped all alleged charges against me? It is unfair that I have 4 arrest on my record and these are not allowing me to further my professional career as a law enforcement officer that I want to pursue. I thought the law stated “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY” please help !

whether drinking or not abuse should never be apart of a relationship, my grandfather always said if a man has to hit then it’s time for you to go and also that if a man is that angry he should leave and cool down and then come back and work things out if it can be worked and if not then both should just go their seperate ways, it happened once to me and it took only one slap and I left and never went back packed up when he left out I called a cab and grabbed my stuff in trash bags I was not about to live a life of abuse and apologies as my mom did a woman is to be loved not tormented verbally or physcically the same goes for the male
